@CyberGut and I made some headcannons for KITT and KARR back in the fall of 2020 regarding 3 structures the AIs have. (We also think these apply to the other AI vehicles in the Knight Rider universe too including my own AI vehicles) The first ones are called tactors: they are long, soft metal, tentacle-like structures that are used to hold or to grab onto things. The Foundation have been modifying them so that the tactors could feel things, the tips can open up into grab arms, and that they could transfer or receive data. The tactors can produce a pale pink fluid so that they can get into hard to reach places. The origin of the fluid is unknown, but it is safe if you touch it or ingest it. The 2nd structure is called a valve: it is a little opening near the back of the underbelly. It acts as a place for the tactors to come out of. Since it is a vulnerable area, it is very sensitive. Inside the valve are 2 chambers. The first one is a cannal that could be used for extra storage.
